Grassroot projects tries to supports every little need of a child. Our latest project has sent us on a diaper run. We are currently in the process of providing diapers and wipes sets to infants ranging from new born to 2 years of four families. They belong to families from Syria and Iraq who have fled their war torn countries and are resettling in the US to provide a safe haven for their children.
Future Projects
- Working with low income schools in the greater Indianapolis area to sponsor students for their after school enrichment program on an ongoing basis.
- Replenishing libraries of low income schools in the greater Seattle area to improve resources for elementary age children.
- Preparing for winter by launching a blanket / winter clothes drive for underprivileged children in Indianapolis and Seattle.

Our next project led us to a sweet 6 year old boy with an infectious smile. He is a Syrian Kurdish refugee and came to US with his parents. He has Cerebral Palsy and was in need of Diapers and clothing. Our customized care package sponsored by a donor provided him with diapers, bedding, wipes, clothing and non perishable food items. |
Our first project has been completed! We are so happy to be able to provide food and clothing to 2 adorable little boys- ages 7 and 8. We came across the mom at the Immigration Welcome Center in Indianapolis and were glad to help get them started. This is just the beginning and we are grateful for being able to make a change in someone’s life. We thank our donors and hope that we can continue to grow and touch the lives of kids at various stages and needs in their lives. |
We met this young single mother from Nigeria who came to US 3 months ago. She has three young children (aged 8yrs, 11yrs and 13 yrs) who are slowly settling down in US. One of the children has sickle cell anemia and has been hospitalized several times. We provided this family with a care package customized to the special needs of the child. |
A 3-year old from Nigeria came to US with her mother a few months ago. The mother is a single mother with no income at this point. The mother was in need of basic food and clothing needs. She has also not been able to travel with her daughter as they don’t have a car seat. Through the generous donation of our donors we were able to provide her with food items, clothing and a car seat.

We helped a single father who moved with his three children from the Democratic Republic of Congo to United States 11 months ago. These children were provided with jackets and winter boots in preparation for the upcoming winter. When we found out the girl’s favorite color was pink we made sure we got her a pink jacket. The children were very excited to receive the gifts and couldn’t stop smiling. Another successful project supported by a generous donor.

With the start of the school season, we are seeing an increase in demand for school supplies. We are looking forward to sponsoring clothing and shoes for school and school stationaries to a family of four. These children are excited and looking forward to going to a proper school. Please help us support them in their first step towards a brighter future.
We are partnering with one of the public schools to sponsor tuition fee for after school programs for underprivileged children. The afterschool programs range from soccer classes, Tae kwon Do classes to cheerleading. We believe that every child should be given an opportunity to pursue a passion of their liking and get a chance to express their inner talents.
