School backpack drive

Having access to back to school essentials levels the playing field and promotes equitable education, helping kids success academically and socially. From Fortune 500 CEOs to politicians to small business owners, once immigrants get settled in the U.S., they excel at remarkable rates. After all, 55% of America’s billion-dollar startups were founded by immigrants.
We helped fill 67 backpacks with school essentials for homeless children throughout Seattle. We worked with the Everett Gospel Mission, Sacred Heart Shelter Seattle, Salt House Kirkland, Mary's Place Seattle, and REACH Center for Hope in Renton to achieve this. Last year, we were able to provide 327 backpacks filled with school supplies.
Many immigrant families face financial and logistical challenges, making it difficult to afford necessary school supplies. Looking for a hands-on way to have a positive impact in your community? Consider hosting a back-to-school donation drive! Rally your friends, family, neighbors and coworkers for a one-day or multi-day drive to support kids! Ask us about leading a community drive to help get kids ready for school, or donate funds to purchase backpacks and supplies for students in need. For just $50, you can buy a backpack filled with all the supplies a kid needs to start the new school year.
