Grassroot Projects focuses on empowering underprivileged and immigrant children in the US with fulfilling their needs so they can thrive and succeed against adversity.
Their needs range from basic assistance for food and clothing, to more specific needs towards funding for school utilities, summer camps, tutoring, and also towards the ability to pursue their passion/dreams.
Together we can make a difference!

Aina is one of the several mothers we helped this year. We provided Aina’s three children with a care package which consisted of shoes, clothes, diapers, car seats, toys and books. Aina and her family immigrated to United States from Nigeria a few years ago. We are so glad we could help her and her children through this transition.
Winter drive 2019

Adult, children and baby blankets were distributed to more than 100
Burmese refugee families at the First Baptist Church in Indianapolis this
year. The sisterhood of Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation helped
collect and distribute the blankets to the families. We could not have
done it without our wonderful volunteers who helped from sorting to
distributing the blankets.

We distributed over 300 winter jackets, hoodies, scarfs and gloves to
refugee children in the Seattle Area. We also collaborated with other
nonprofits in the area; like the Eastside Baby Corner, LIHI Tiny Houses
and Wellspring Family Services to increase outreach to even more
disadvantaged children. Thanks to our young volunteers who spent a
weekend packing and sorting all the winter gear!
